“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more.
It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal
into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our
past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
~Melody Beattie
In the name of gratitude and truthfulness I’ve decided to post a little piece of reality here once a week. Likely just a single picture. See my original post here.
A little while ago, I turned on Netflix for the kids while I frantically cleaned for a showing. I cued up Sesame Street from the last viewing and it began at this song. How suiting, how very suiting.
I’ve warned Dan to prepare himself for when I start crying – only four sleeps left in this house and sappy ads, and children’s stories are making me cry. There is an emotional floodgate getting ready to burst its dam but for now I’m busy with the many details of moving.
P.S. Someday soon I’ll be able to talk about something other than moving, I promise.

hugs, dear rachel, hugs.
Oh, don’t I know it… Sending big sappy hugs your way. xo
Change…even for the better…is never easy. Sit down with a glass of wine or a cup of tea and let it out…it’s all good!
I would like to be nearer, to help you ….
Love to you Rachel, remember to breathe!
It must be hard to leave a place where the littles have been for so long..some of them born there… if not all?
But it’s a big and wonderful change. So exciting. Want to see more pics of the new place when you’re ready.
XO
