I’m Rachel, a mama to six most wonderful children, aged 9 and under, who never cease to amaze me with their wisdom, creativity, imagination and wonder. Along with those little charmers, I share my days with my wonderful husband , who loves to cook for us, is a patient father who parents with big doses of grace, and is very understanding to wait with the gang in the car when I just need to run in “quickly” to the thrift store/library/fabric store.
I am thrilled to be home with these sweet people during days of peace and days of chaos – although we usually land somewhere in the middle. We school, play, create, laugh, cry, fight, and make-up together.
I love books, wool, vintage fabrics, beeswax crayons, wooden knitting needles, school supplies, my vintage Pyrex, my grandma’s sewing machine, and my camera. I am easily inspired by beautiful things and aspire to eke out a little more time in my day to create.
In my home there is mustard on my couch, expired cream in my fridge, unknown sticky on my floor, laundry piled precariously, and love in abundance.
Thanks for visiting!
