“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more.
It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal
into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our
past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
~Melody Beattie
In the name of gratitude and truthfulness I’ve decided to post a little piece of reality here once a week. Likely just a single picture. See my original post here.
Today and each day I am thankful for these hands, a Father’s hands. Hands that guide, encourage, support and lift up. Hands that deal with dirty business, hungry mouths and heavy lifting. Hands that teach acceptance and worth to those under their care. Hands that give so much in the name of unconditional love. Today I am celebrating and giving thanks for the many different Father’s that are and have been a part of my life and my children’s lifes.
Happy Father’s Day!

Perfectly written. I hope your Father’s Day was as lovely as could be.
I LOVE HANDS! They symbolize, for me too, so much. I loved my Dad’s hands. I love my Mom’s hands. I love Peter’s hands.
