“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more.
It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal
into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our
past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
~Melody Beattie
In the name of gratitude and truthfulness I’ve decided to post a little piece of reality here once a week. Likely just a single picture. See my original postΒ here.
I’m thankful that pumpkin is a vegetable and pumpkin pie with heaps of whipped cream, a balanced meal. For littles who can’t believe their good fortune. For a sweet friend who braves the cold and germs to relieve us with hot beverages, helping hands, knitting help and good conversation. Who reminds us that we have more family in this city than we realized.
