The gentle presence of my mama as she gives of herself to my children as she always has done for me;
quiet afternoons, a peek now and then at the Olympics;
the lingering warmth of sun on line-dried laundry;
bountiful market produce;
the beginning of something transformational;
boisterous children, hands in shalom, summer heat.
:: giving thanks with beautiful Taryn at Wooly Moss Roots for Gratitude Sunday ::
So lovely…Good luck on your journey with Laura Emily…I’m anxious to see how it goes for you (and all the wonderful women participating).
I love watching my mother with my boys…it’s so sweet. I hope the fast works out for you. I have seen several people doing it and I can’t wait to see the results. I’m afraid I had to pass this go round. Maybe next time.
Rachel,
I am so delighted to have you join Gratitude Sunday. Yay! 🙂
Love the picture and I love all the wonderful summery things on your list.
Much Love,
Taryn
That is a beautiful list Rachel.
How are you doing on the fast?
All best to you; I’ve heard first hand how fasts can be really transformational. Thinking of you often and best wishes to you!
Love those baby toes! I’ve been thinking about going on a fast (just eat fruit/vegies) thanks for the link…all the best with yours, Rachel {{hugs}}
Whatever your fast I hope it’s a success – I know you can do it, you’re strong. I just read about Laura Emily’s success with fasting and it certainly sounds interesting. We’re rooting for you.
Beautiful gratitude-so lovely. Thank you.
xo
love those sweet baby feet!!!
Grandmas are so wonderful and helpful to have around…like another mommy, but with fewer rules. (Or so my kids tell me;)
I can’t wait to hear about your fast with Laura Emily:)
